The Patrol Division continues to serve the City of Klamath Falls in a progressive and professional manner, and prides itself in providing citizens with both personal and community oriented service.
The Patrol Division responded to 33,482 calls for service between November 1, 2009 and October 31, 2010. The calls ranged from life threatening situations to requests for civil advice. Of those calls, 882 were reports of motor vehicle accidents.
Between November 1, 2009 and October 31, 2010, 2338 traffic citations and 451 criminal citations were issued. (Criminal Citations included such categories as disorderly conduct, public begging, minor in possession of alcohol, or truancy.) Officers also issued 155 parking citations during this time etc.)
During this same time period, Klamath Falls Police Officers made 78 arrests for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants.
